A waterlogged garden.
A small copper pot patinated from 24 months spent outdoors is hung from the ceiling with a thin, hand-braided copper rope. From this pot spills a long and narrow cotton label detailing every transaction involved in the research project to date. This label has been dyed with a spectrum of colours produced by the Indigofera tinctoria, Eucalyptus sideroxylon, and Tagetes erecta plants; from black, through purple, indigo, blue, green, yellow, peach, brown and grey. The undyed end of the label is sewn into the artist’s red t-shirt. Together they form a puddle held by a shallow, hand-cast concrete tray.
